A rare peek at desert habitat. Alejandro, an old man isolated in the desert, plants a garden to combat his loneliness. When small desert animals begin to visit the garden in search of water, Alejandro decides to dig a well to help the larger desert animals. The gift of water he gives to the animals is surpassed by the gift of company he receives in return.
