An appealing anthology includes twenty short easy-to-read poems about baseball, track, swimming, soccer, basketball, football, ice skating and hockey. Poets represented in the collection include Nikki Grimes, J. Patrick Lewis, Myra Cohn Livingston, and Michael Strickland, and most of the poems appear to have been written especially for especially for this volume.
